Amarillo Restaurant in Cebu

"Romelyn Jamila (Roma) is the reason for all 5 stars in this review. This restaurant is great, has an awesome view of the city, serves a delicious breakfast and has very nice staff who will take great care of you, but Roma made all the difference for me. While having no set plans and being unsure about what to do in Cebu, I quickly approached Roma one day for suggestions on the best spots to visit in and near Cebu. Roma provided me with a few suggestions, including Mantayupan Falls -- which is about a two hour ride away from Cebu City and has multiple incredible falls -- which have now become one of the highlights of my trip in the Philippines. Roma not only provided me with great suggestions on what the best local and tourist spots are in Cebu to visit, but also and most importantly remained attentive and cautious of my needs as a woman traveling alone. Her assistance and kindness made me feel more at ease and helped me plan a far better trip than I could have imagined. By far the best staff member at the Amarillo Restaurant. "Was somewhat put off by the reviews but decided to give it a go. I’m so glad! Burger was delicious, best I’ve had in months and great value for money. Shrimp croissant - delicious and generous with shrimps. Drinks always come with a glass full of ice. Super kind & friendly staff. Wonderful views over the city, plenty of seating available. Great internet, appreciate it as a digital nomad."

"Had the Mizo Glazed Salmon for lunch . Delicious . Their daiquiri was a nice blend for a hot afternoon coolant with lunch . The rooftop has a great view and I'm sure dining here will be magically romantic with the lights and the city all lit up under you . Price wise they're not too expensive for the food quality and ambience . Great staff.. smiling always .. Jazzy was a wonderful host . For desert The Japanese cheese cake and the special Fuji cake both just melted in my mouth .. overall a surprisingly wonderful experience. Kudos Amarillo and YELLO .. keep up the good work n service . Cheers ."

"This restaurant is located at the roof top of Yello Hotel where I also stayed during my vacation. Over all design of the place has a very modern touch with earthy colors. I had dinner here once and it was a fair and good experience. This place is also good for groups because of their table settings. They also have multiple functions room which I believe they can accommodate. The portions of the food are good but I think me and guests would agree that the prices are a bit too pricey. Drink prices are average but somewhat affordable. I think what makes this places keep afloat is the over all top notch customer service of the staff. Very attentive, listens to every requests, offers service without even asked."
